Trey Clemens

Trey is the Chief Financial Officer at Iron Point. Trey serves on the Valuation Committee and Compliance Committee, and serves as a non-voting member of the ESG Committee and the Investment Committee for each of the Iron Point funds. Trey joined Iron Point in 2008 and is actively involved in all aspects of fund financial reporting, investor relations, and financing activities.

Prior to joining Iron Point, Trey was a Senior Auditor in the Real Estate Group of Ernst & Young, LLP from 2002 to 2006. Trey worked on projects for a number of real estate clients with a principal focus on private equity real estate opportunity funds. From 2006 to 2008, Trey worked as the Assistant Controller for Westbrook Real Estate Partners. While with Westbrook, Trey played an integral role in Westbrook’s financial reporting and served as the primary accounting contact for their joint venture partners.

Nina is an Executive Assistant in the Iron Point Washington D.C. office and is also a Personal Assistant to Bill Janes. Nina has been with Iron Point since its inception, previously acting as Director of Business Operations, where her duties included budgetary functions, purchasing, staffing, payroll, insurance, and processing of legal documents. Prior to joining Iron Point, Nina was an Executive Assistant at Oak Hill Partners and prior to that, Nina worked in various management positions, including as Managing Editor and Features Writer for Miami Mensual Magazine.

Joe is a Director at Iron Point. Joe joined Iron Point in 2012 and is actively involved in originating and structuring investment opportunities, financial analysis, due diligence, transaction execution, and asset management. Joe has 15 years of experience in commercial real estate investment, development, asset management, and investor relations. During his tenure at Iron Point, Joe has been involved in Iron Point’s investments in the self-storage, life science, and office sectors as well as “special situation” opportunities including investments in commercial real estate non-performing loans and distressed assets.

Prior to joining Iron Point, Joe was an Analyst for the Iron Point Titan Asset Management (“IPTAM”) team, where he was responsible for providing support to the asset managers overseeing day-to-day management and servicing functions related to investments by IPREP I and IPREP II in non-performing loan and other REO assets.

Ryan is a Partner at Iron Point serving on the firm’s Management Committee, Valuation Committee, and the Investment Committee of each of the Iron Point funds. Ryan’s responsibilities at Iron Point include fund management, originating and structuring investment opportunities, acquisition due diligence, transaction execution, fund formation, capital raising, and investor relations.

Since joining Oak Hill Realty in 2006, he has either led or been actively involved in investments in hospitality, multifamily, senior housing, self-storage properties, and single-family rental as well as numerous distressed transactions across a variety of product types. Prior to becoming involved with Iron Point and the Bass Entities, Ryan was with Ernst & Young, LLP, from 1999 to 2005. Ryan was a Manager in Ernst & Young’s Real Estate Group where he provided assurance and advisory services for numerous real estate clients with a principal focus on private equity real estate opportunity funds.

Yvette is Vice President of Legal and Compliance and the Compliance Officer at Iron Point and serves on the ESG Committee and the Compliance Committee. Yvette joined Iron Point in 2009 and has responsibility for maintaining the firm’s compliance program, as well as legal matters related to each of the Iron Point funds and the funds’ investments.

Prior to joining Iron Point, Yvette was a Real Estate Paralegal Specialist with Sutherland Asbill & Brennan, LLP from 2007 to 2009. During this period, Yvette worked on complex securitized lending, and acquisition and development transactions. Yvette has over 30 years of legal experience encompassing private equity, real estate, corporate, and antitrust law. Yvette has worked for several law firms including Hogan Lovells, LLP, Arent Fox PLLC, and Sidley Austin LLP. In addition to her law firm experience, Yvette worked for MCI Telecommunications Corporation as a Real Estate Administrator where she was responsible for negotiating office and technical facility leases.

Val is the Office Manager and Executive Assistant for the Dallas office. She joined Iron Point in 2009 and is actively involved in the day-to-day operations including managing the office infrastructure, events, managing travel and schedules, processing IPP bills, submitting tax returns, and various other document processing. Prior to joining Iron Point, Val served as the Women’s Equipping Director at Watermark Community Church. Prior to that Val worked as a manager in Sales Training and Leadership Development at Dell Technologies for over a decade.

While at Constellation Advisers, David performed outsource CFO services for a variety of private equity funds including real estate funds.

Prior to working at Constellation Advisers, David served as an Audit Senior Associate at Weaver and audited financial services clients.

Bill is a Managing Partner at Iron Point serving on the firm’s Management Committee as well as the Investment Committee of each of the Iron Point and IPI funds. Bill’s responsibilities at Iron Point include fund management, originating investment opportunities, fund formation, capital raising, and investor relations.

Bill became involved with the Bass Entities in 1990 and, since that time, he has played a significant role in all major real estate transactions for the Bass Entities, including the acquisition of real estate assets and loans throughout New York City on behalf of Bass-related entities, and the acquisition of interests in numerous Japanese properties through DaVinci I Corp. Y.K. Bill was also actively involved in the initial public offerings of CarrAmerica, Paragon, CapStar, and GMH Communities Trust, Paragon’s subsequent merger with Camden Property Trust, the acquisition of the Mendik real estate portfolio by Vornado, and the merger of the Codina Group, Inc. and Florida East Coast Industries. Bill previously served on the board of directors or investment committees of American Skiing Company, Brazos Asset Management and Brazos Fund, CapStar, Carr Real Estate Services, Max/FW Management, Mendik, MeriStar Hospitality Corporation, Paragon, and Oak Hill REIT Management. Prior to becoming involved with the Bass Entities, Bill was with Lincoln Property Company, serving as Regional General Partner and overseeing development operations in the Mid-Atlantic region, and with Coldwell Banker (now CBRE).

Michelle is Vice President, Human Resources at Iron Point.  Michelle joined Iron Point in 2022 and is actively involved in all human resource-related matters.  Before joining Iron Point’s Dallas office, Michelle owned her own HR and bookkeeping firm, where she managed related operations for several businesses in the Dallas area.  Before creating her own firm, she worked as a Business Operations Manager for a Dallas-based property tax consulting firm, handling HR, accounting, and payroll.  Before this role, she managed a software development team for Associates First Capital.  Michelle earned her SHRM-CP.

While at JP Morgan, Flora focused on the underwriting and management of real estate transactions for corporate and financial sponsors.

Tom is a Managing Partner at Iron Point serving on the firm’s Management Committee, ESG Committee, Compliance Committee, Valuation Committee, and the Investment Committee of each of the Iron Point and IPI funds. Tom also serves as a member of the board of directors of STACK Infrastructure. Tom’s responsibilities at Iron Point include fund management, originating and structuring new investment opportunities, fund formation, capital raising, and investor relations.

Prior to the formation of Iron Point in 2007, Tom worked for RMB Realty and its successor Oak Hill Realty, entities that managed the real estate investment activities of the Robert M. Bass family office. Prior to RMB Realty and Iron Point, Tom was a Vice President in the investment banking division at Deutsche Bank Securities (previously Alex. Brown & Sons Inc.) where he provided mergers and acquisitions (“M&A”) advisory services and participated in numerous equity and debt private placements and public issuances of equity, equity-linked securities, and high yield bonds. Prior to investment banking, Tom was a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy where he served as a criminal defense attorney in the Navy’s JAG Corps. While serving active duty, Tom also utilized the G.I. Bill to earn an M.B.A. with a concentration in corporate finance from Old Dominion University.

Reid joined Iron Point in 2011 and is actively involved in financial analysis, due diligence, transaction execution, and asset management activities related to new and existing investments. During his tenure at Iron Point, Reid has been involved in Iron Point’s investments in the healthcare, hospitality, multifamily, and self-storage sectors.

Prior to joining Iron Point, Reid was an investment banking analyst at Robert W. Baird & Co. from 2008 to 2010. While at Baird, Reid worked on a range of corporate finance transactions for clients in the real estate and financial services industries.

Prior to joining Iron Point Partners, Cristin worked in the U.S. and the Asia-Pacific region as an Executive and Administrative Assistant for over a decade.  She worked in a wide variety of industries, including agriculture, education, electoral reform, and law.

Gene is a Senior Advisor at Iron Point and serves on the Investment Committee of each of the Iron Point funds.

Prior to becoming a Partner at Iron Point, Gene served as the Managing Director of Iron Point Titan Ventures, a joint venture formed in 2007 to make investments in distressed commercial mortgage loans, REO assets, and other special situation investment opportunities. Prior to Iron Point Titan Ventures, Gene was a Partner and Senior Managing Director with JER where he served as President of JER Investors Trust (NYSE: JRT) focusing on mezzanine and other sub-debt investments. During his 17-year career with JER, he also led numerous JER distressed debt and equity investment activities, including the acquisition of approximately $3 billion in loan portfolios and other equity and debt transactions, as well as leading the establishment of the company’s RTC debt asset management platform in the early 1990s, opening JER’s London office in 1999, and managing a $6 billion portfolio of distressed loans owned by BancCrecer (Mexico City). Prior to joining JER, Gene was Regional Manager for the Federal Asset Disposition Association (“FADA”), with responsibility for approximately $5.5 billion in distressed accounts, and Vice President and Workout Officer of Interfirst Bank.

Nitin is the General Counsel and the Chief Compliance Officer at Iron Point. Nitin serves on the Compliance Committee and serves as a non-voting member of the ESG Committee, the Valuation Committee, and the Investment Committee of each of the Iron Point funds. Nitin joined Iron Point in 2013 and has responsibility for the management of legal and compliance matters relating to Iron Point, each of the Iron Point funds, and the funds’ investments.

Prior to joining Iron Point, Nitin was counsel at Vinson & Elkins LLP from 2003 to 2013. As a member of the Corporate Practice Group at Vinson & Elkins, Nitin’s practice focused on transactional and general corporate matters, including M&A, joint ventures, and private equity, and he regularly represented private and public companies, private equity funds, and portfolio companies in connection with their acquisition, development, financing, and disposition of assets and target companies, both in the U.S. and internationally. Prior to Vinson & Elkins, Nitin clerked for Judge Phyllis Kravitch on the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit from 2002 to 2003.

John is a Vice President at Iron Point. Prior to joining Iron Point, John was a Senior Associate at RCLCO, a real estate advisory firm. While at RCLCO, John supported the Institutional Advisory Services Practice Group by offering real estate advisory services such as investment underwriting and asset management services to large institutional investors.

Prior to working at RCLCO, John served as a consultant at EY and performed consulting services for financial services firms with a focus on the secondary mortgage market. John is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder and a member of the CFA Society Washington, DC and the Urban Land Institute.

Salime is a Managing Director with Iron Point where his responsibilities include building out the managed account capability for the firm. In this capacity, Salime is involved in strategic program design and capital formation, originating and structuring investment opportunities, acquisition due diligence, transaction execution, capital raising, and investor relations.

Prior to joining Iron Point, Salime was a Managing Director with Madison Marquette where he spearheaded a number of key initiatives, including building out strategic managed account mandates with foreign capital partners in various real estate sectors. Prior to that, Salime lived in Qatar and worked for affiliated entities of the sovereign wealth fund where he played a critical role in the acquisition and management of over $2 billion of real estate investments globally.

Kevin is a Partner at Iron Point and serves on the Valuation Committee, ESG Committee, and the Investment Committee of each of the Iron Point funds. Kevin joined Iron Point in 2009 and has responsibility for originating and structuring investment opportunities, acquisition due diligence, transaction execution, and asset management.

Prior to joining Iron Point, Kevin was a Vice President at the J.E. Robert Companies (“JER”) from 2004 to 2009. As part of the Acquisitions and Asset Management Group at JER, Kevin was responsible for pursuing and evaluating investment opportunities across JER’s opportunistic fund platforms. While at JER, Kevin successfully closed acquisitions totaling $2.9 billion in transaction value. Prior to this, Kevin was an investment banking Associate at Banc of America Securities serving as a corporate finance and M&A generalist.

Kevin serves on the board of directors for Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing (“APAH”), a nonprofit developer committed to increasing the number of affordable rental housing units in the communities within the Washington D.C. Metro region.  He currently co-chairs APAH’s annual Celebrate Home Gala and is a member of APAH’s finance committee. Kevin also serves as Vice Chair of the Arlington Economic Development Commission, an advisory body to the County Board of Arlington, VA to provide counsel to the County Board on matters pertaining to Arlington County’s general economic health.
